As IPPG is registered as an incorporated trustee, a  Board of Trustees (BoT) has been instituted and composed of individuals with a wealth of industry knowledge and exposure. 

The Governance Council is the ultimate decision-making body of IPPG and is made up of Producer Members (CEOs). A Chairman is nominated to serve within a stipulated period – the current Chairman for the IPPG Governance Council is Mr Abdulrazaq Isa.

The Governance Council is responsible for the following key activities:

1. Formulate policies and define strategic direction of IPPG.
2. Review the structure and objectives of IPPG in line with the operating environment and priorities of members.
3. Define the IPPG's values and Code of Conduct.
4. Approve annual budget of IPPG to ensure that the necessary financial and human resources are in place for IPPG to meet its objectives.
5. Approve annual programmes and strategic initiatives of the Group.
6. Appoint and review the performance of the IPPG Secretariat.

A dedicated Working Group is set up for each of the focus / thematic areas defined by IPPG Governance Council – the Working Groups drive the implementation of initiatives across the focus areas. Each Working Group headed by a Chairman – members of the committee are individuals with requisite skill / knowledge of thematic / focus area.

The Secretariat serves as the implementing body for IPPG Governance Council policies and objectives – it is also responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities (operational and administrative) of the Secretariat and coordinates the activity of the IPPG Working Group. The Secretariat is currently overseen by an Executive Coordinator.
